About Bulgarian Labor Law
A free tool built for workers, freelancers and foreign employers operating in Bulgaria.
Our mission
Labor and tax law in Bulgaria is dense — full of references to the Labor Code, the Social Insurance Code and dozens of ordinances. Many people do not know what they are owed upon dismissal, sick leave or maternity, and cannot verify whether the employer paid them correctly. For foreign-speaking employees and HR teams abroad, the language barrier doubles the problem.
Bulgarian Labor Law exists to make these calculations transparent and accessible. Every figure can be verified against the underlying statute; every text is written in plain language.

How the calculators work
All calculations happen directly in your browser. The values you enter never leave your device — nothing is sent to a server, stored or shared. Formulas are based on current legislation as of 2026, including up-to-date insurance and tax rates.
Results are indicative. For a specific legal or accounting situation we recommend consulting a qualified lawyer or accountant.
